Building up a fused glass panel
Here you can see how the images are built up with many layers of handcut glass sections, confetti glass, and various grades of fritt.
Each piece is totally unique, even if i tried to replicate a piece the kiln gods would see to it that there is some element of change . I like to build up the kiln shelf so that there is texture . Sometimes I will fuse a piece many times so that i can get it to "move" . Opening the kiln is like Christmas everyday, even when it goes wrong.

Happy Spring to you all , I have finally begun to get over the deadful ill health that plaqued me for most of last year and the begining of this year, so with a smile on my face and a skip in my step I'm feeling creative and busy getting ready for all the events which are coming up,the first of which is the Chichester Art trail , where i will have my house and garden open and Elaine Morgan will be sharing my vene , expect lots of colour and new works , see you there and remember theres always ...the little gallery in west wittering, more details
